Organisations Offering Language Certification in SPANISH

Instituto Cervantes: Instituto Cervantes is a public institution created by Spain in 1991 to promote and teach the Spanish language and to spread the culture of Spain and Hispanic countries. It offers DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) or SIELE (International Spanish Language Evaluation Service) certifications , which are officially recognized qualifications. Fundación Montemadrid: offers a Manual of Spanish for Immigrants, which combines oral and reading-writing, considering oral as an indispensable preliminary step for the teaching of reading-writing. It consists of three levels and it is possible to download the manual in PDFs and the audios corresponding to each level from its website. Link: Fundación Montemadrid

ASILIM: is the "Asociación para la Integración Lingüística del Inmigrante en Madrid" (Association for the Linguistic Integration of Immigrants in Madrid), and is a non-profit association, mainly made up of teachers specialised in teaching Spanish as a foreign language to migrants, asylum seekers and refugees. Centro de formación de personas adultas Vicent Ventura: offers specific courses for migrants in the city of Valencia. The courses are both Spanish and Valencian. It also offers support in the preparation of the exam for the Spanish nationality. Link:  Vicent Ventura
